The Perfect Parts Set: 6776 Ogel Control Center?

I'm really excited about this set: (URL) parts that caught my attention: A red space windshield- the first since 1994!!!!! It's the new clicky kind. Red angled support beams- at least two. Two red 6x6 octogon domes- a rare part in old Castle (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build, lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: Washing Pirate Sails?

(...) Hi Paul, I've cleaned a lot of sails and the main thing to avoid is scrubbing them too hard. The threads on the edges come loose and fray if you wash them too long or scrub them too much. You can use just about any liquid detergent and even (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Brickfest 2001?

(...) I think a Piratefest would be awsome. I'm not sure if I could come up with a venue though (my apartment certainly isn't big enough for a game). I think someplace in the mid-Atlantic region would be best, which would suggest D.C. as a good (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Washing Pirate Sails?

(...) I have washed with liquid dish soap and gotten good results. If they are smoky smelling it may be worth using an anti-bacterial liquid hand soap though I haven't tried this. If you dry the sails on a flat surface (like a towel draped over a (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Washing Pirate Sails?

Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do or NOT do to clean pirate ship sails? I've acquired some used ones from various sources that are really dirty, as well as wrinkled, and I'd like to know how people clean these. Are the colors (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Tom Reed: Please read this !!!!

Hello Tom, I can't reach you !! I've been sending multiple mails for more then a week now (regarding sails and Brickbay) and they all come back as 'undelivered'. Is you mailbox full? Is you provider dead? What's going on? Please respond with a phone (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Ship Hull Question

(...) Hi Lester, I've done just such a thing using inverted slopes and some plates. The only trick is finding the same color if you want it to match. I had a web page illustrating it, but unfortunately I removed it recently. I can send you some pics (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Ship Hull Question

(...) I used bricks to extend the St Theresa mid section. I'm not sure if this answers your question since my method was really not very complex at all. The way you see it is pretty much how its built. I think if you use bricks of the same color, (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Ship Hull Question

Has anyone figured a way to create a middle hull section or something equivalent using bricks. A friend of mine built a very nice container ship using a pirate hull but it was way to short because he didn't have enough middle sections. To be (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: ahoy there!

Hello Richard! (...) I'm happy you understood my letter :) (...) I don't have any pictures of my ship, but if you're really interested, I've decided to made a few - probably I'll upload them next week (I have no scanner, or digital camera). (...) I (...)   Re: ahoy there!

(...) <<snip worthy description of ship>> Sounds great! (and your English is fine by me - careful though, I'm a colonial, the English themselves might be more picky...:-) I'd like to see some pictures.... The pirate vessels tended to be the smaller (...)   Looking for Tom Reed

I think Tom reads this newsgroup. Please send a mail to me, the mail adress I have is corrupt. My mails to him keep coming back, the mail administrater can't deliver. We were talking about a sails-ship trade. Anyone out there who knows of a second (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  ahoy there!

Ahoy sea-dogs! :) Let me introduce myself - I'm a corsair from Baltic sea of Poland. My fleet isn't very big (I rather should say that it's /very small/) - just one ship (Carribean Clipper, known in Poland as "Sea Hawk"), couple of boats and (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Armada

(...) I don't have a fully up to date account, but my latest shows: 284 striped shirt pirates 86 blue shirt/red stripes pirates 51 black pirate captains 33 red pirate captains 7 6277/6286 unique torso pirates 77 green vest pirates 17 pirate babes (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Armada

(...) It's huge - pirate complete. Add in a few hundred pirates, a couple hundred Islanders, and about 50 Armada and you get the idea. There's also five of the Imperial ships (2 blue and 3 red), 2-3 Imperial Trading Posts, and 2-3 Eldorado (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: HES Valhalla

  Re: HES Valhalla

I've not had my internet access for most of the weekend; I just got it back (no explanation, it's just back...) :-P Anyway... This is something that has been bothering me (to a small degree) for a while now. I would say that ".general" would be a (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: HES Valhalla

(...) Lord knows, I do it all the friggin' time. I usually go to .boats, .build, and .pirates--FUT usually to build or to pirates. If it's a huuuuuuge tract of web, you can probably safely toss .general in there (but yank it from the followups). Of (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jan-01, to lugnet.pirates)
