  Re: New here...kinda...plus cats.

The biggest problem I have with our cats is the floating hair. Each and every Lego model will collect cat hair, LOTS OF IT. I don't know if the sets are acting like hair magnets or what :) . Ron (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: New here...kinda...plus cats.

(...) I can't recommend it. As a young teen, I tried to mix Lego with a cat, by making a howdah for my maxis and stiffies to ride in, perched atop our cat. It kept slipping off the cat, and eventually she wandered away to hide, leaving my dreams of (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: New here...kinda...plus cats.

We've never had a problem... sometimes they like to rub up against anything we leave on the floor - other times they "find" for us parts that were dropped that we missed :) playing LEGO hockey with them at 3am on the hardwood floors! They've never (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: New here...kinda...plus cats.

(...) I have four cats, a lot of Lego bricks and a small apartment. But only the orange tabby male, Angus, has ever really tried to chew on the Lego bricks. And he tries to chew on almost everything small enough that doesn't fight back. All four are (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  New here...kinda...plus cats.

Hey all, I've been lurking around for years, both here on LUGNET and on the old *.toys.lego forums. And since I have oh so much free time on my hands right now, I thought I'd start posting occasionally. There is an ulterior motive. I do have a (...)   Re: me newbie

(...) I apologise - I scanned the list of groups but didn't see 'test', and I did find a reference to l.people.newbie for something along the lines of if you're not certain if you can post. I'll shift over to l.off-topic.test now. regards, Ian SMith (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: me newbie

(...) heh, no prob - but that's why the newsgroups lugnet.off-topic.test and it's subgroups were created :) Dan (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: me newbie

(...) Turns out my system isn't flaky, but lugnet doesn't want to be fed by my server by design. Now I'm trying to arrange a workaround, but that means testing. Sorry about this. regards, Ian SMith (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: vision command / studios

(...) Gerd, Having bought the Vision Command only, I can say it does include all the software you need to do a movie like studios, in that it allows for stop animation as well as 'rolling' video. I do believe the camera's are the same and the (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: membership pack

(...) Tim, it's my fault. I'm still pretty far behind on the packets. It might be after our wedding (late April) before I get things in order. The good news is that you don't actually need the membership packet to do anything -- it's just a (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.people.newbie)
