Newbie LUGNET guy here. Just coming out of my '2nd' Lego Dark Ages. My first
Dark Ages ended when I was in the US Army (81-87) and got into collecting
the Castleland sets (the "Lions" & "Black Hawks" period). My 2nd Dark Ages
started when I seperated from my ex-wife in 96 (my Legos were
overlooked/forgotten during the nasty mess and prolly ended up in a
land-fill in Arizona *cringe*). My current Lego Renaissance started about 6
months ago in Idaho (was there on a Contract job) with the Technic
Roboriders/Throwbots, now I'm building up with the Star Wars sets.
Haven't worked up to doing MOC's yet, but have just recently got into the
LDRAW/MLCad stuff. Am now working on 'recreating' my Castleland collection
in Virtuality (heck-of-alot cheaper than Reality and takes up a whole lot
less space *wink* - for now *grin*).
Non-Legoish, I'm 42, married, a mild-mannered Contract Computer Programmer
(FOXPRO Databases) by day; a happy & some-what exhausted father of a almost
Four year old Daughter by early evenings; and a Dinner table Lego maniac by
late evenings/slow Sundays (Saturdays are general errands/family days). :)
