Is lgbt goingto build amoc together? —Steve DeCraemer
Teddy and Company. Do you see the lgbt building a moc together for the next Brickfest event? If so what. It could be just about anything from a moonbase to mosaic (every one brings a plate) to possibly a small town layout and everyone brings a (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Edward Welsh
(...) Splendid idea! (...) I guess your threshold for "flaming" is a bit different from mine. I'd consider a giant Wizard of Oz moc to be subtle. A Chinese restaurant filled with drag queens, lesbian hair, and scantily clad minifigs would be (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Steve DeCraemer
(...) I really do think we need to get input from as many people as possible. Right now we don't really have to jump into anything to fast. Better ideas may come to us in a day or even a few weeks from now. Plus it would give those once a week (...) (20 years ago, 21-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Angela Fong
(...) Oh I'm only doing the interior of the restaurant, so our minifigs will have a place to have a drink afterwards. I like the Times Square idea, as well as the super gay Castro Street theme as well. Do you folks go to Brickfest every year? Angela (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Edward Welsh
(...) I try to attend, even if it means sneaking out of my math conference to do it. I've seen Steve there both times I've gone. I suspect we have critical mass to do an event there. Definitely something worth mulling over. [LDrawPart 3004:373] (...) (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Judy Miller
(...) What about a MOC tribute to the state of Massachusetts? Judy (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Steve DeCraemer
(...) What would a Massachusetts moc look like. Would it be more more fitting to build a large mass of gays in cars, dykes on bikes, and people walking to Canada or sailing for Belgium. Just think we could build the Nina, Pinto, and Santa Maria (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Edward Welsh
(...) Hey! I'm quite happy living here in Massachusetts. Of course, I'd love to send our governor back to Utah. And get contracts that respect our public employees. And fund them. But don't get me started. FUT-> lugnet.off-topic.debate [LDrawPart (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Edward Welsh
(...) Fabulous idea! I could take a stab at the purple mountains of the Berkshires if I get a few cups of magenta from Pick-a-Brick and add a whole lot of gray. Sprinkle in a few minifigs on a "family" outing, and voila! Anyone up for the (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Angela Fong
(...) Uh Massachusetts, is this in reference to the whole marriage thing? I'm a Canuck and I used to follow American politics but then it got surreal. Angela (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Judy Miller
(...) Yeah, the marriage thing. In response to you and Steve: we could do Massachusetts, Belgium and Canada and... is there any place else? Massachusetts was uppermost in my mind as I'm a native of Amherst, Mass. (hometown of Emily Dickinson) but (...) (20 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —C. L. GunningCook
(...) (Snip) Hmmmmmm did someone say, (URL) follow the yellow brick road?> (URL) Couldn't resist posting that MOC, but seriously, didn't know there was a connection. Maybe someone could enlighten me before the winged monkeys come take me away. (...) (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX) !

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Edward Welsh
(...) No! No!!!! Aaaah! FAAAAAAAAbulous! Make sure you click through to (URL), kiddies! Priceless! (...) The wizard is just an old fool. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Short answer: "Come out, come out, wherever you are." Long (...) (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —C. L. GunningCook
(...) Funny, I re-read the text of my page, and must admit, had a little laugh at that quote from the movie when I was about to post. Seemed doubly fitting. (...) (snip) Well Teddy, thanks for the link. I had no idea, but I must say, it does make (...) (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —Pete White
(...) Is that a 'SNOT building inspector' under that house ? (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together? —C. L. GunningCook
(...) Yes, Pete, *THAT* is the evil SNOT Builder Witch of the East. (wink) Thankfully Dorothy's house killed her on impact, so we and all the munchkins are free to do all the SNOT building we want without fear of evil spells, curses or condemnation. (...)
