Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together?

(...) Hey! I'm quite happy living here in Massachusetts. Of course, I'd love to send our governor back to Utah. And get contracts that respect our public employees. And fund them. But don't get me started. FUT-> lugnet.off-topic.debate [LDrawPart (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together?

(...) Fabulous idea! I could take a stab at the purple mountains of the Berkshires if I get a few cups of magenta from Pick-a-Brick and add a whole lot of gray. Sprinkle in a few minifigs on a "family" outing, and voila! Anyone up for the (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together?

(...) What would a Massachusetts moc look like. Would it be more more fitting to build a large mass of gays in cars, dykes on bikes, and people walking to Canada or sailing for Belgium. Just think we could build the Nina, Pinto, and Santa Maria (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) Cool! I wish more teens realized they CAN participate in the adult world if they only try. Sure, it's cool to be a teen with your friends most of the time, but it's also cool to be an adult. I had a similarly empowering experience as a teen. I (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

When critiquing I try to do a few things, most importantly provide encouragment, for some people its a big thing to present their new MOC to the world. I try to gauge the level of the builder (which isn't really an age thing) from the tone of their (...)   Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) I reckon you're pretty fair with your critiques, Paul. But you're right, they can be difficult, mainly because one is always unsure how they will be taken. Here's what I reckon: If you want your work critiqued, ask for it, even to the point of (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) Critiquing is tough. I've been giving ad-hoc critiques of almost everything for years and I still haven't got the hang of it... in fact, I often get the feeling that it has worked against my favour. I don't think I'd recommend it. Then again, (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

snip (...) I think this important to note. I think alot of us, or at least myself, get stuck in a "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" mentality.   Ah, finally a .teen newsgroup!

Well, hello. I've posted in .space a couple times, but rarely had any of my MOCs actually reviwed. I discovered this site when I was 11, amazed that there were so many LEGO fans from all over the world. I didn't start posting until a couple months (...)   Phew!

Hi everyone. You know, I feel so glad that there is a .teens group! I never thought about it before, but I have a real, physical feeling of relief now that I can post here! I wonder why this group wasn't created earlier. Let me introduce myself, (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) Maybe part of it was that .space is simply BIG. Maybe part of it was that I've split energies between models and the Starship game. I don't know. But I just didn't feel the warm reception others seemed to get. Don't get me wrong--I'm not (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

Why I kept my age a secret

Hey everybody. (follow-up to the first post in .teen (URL) discovered Lugnet when I was about 13. It was the single coolest website I had ever seen. (...) Awesome, Angela!  Set up a brickshelf account.  It's quick, easy, and free (though I think the admins have to switch you on, which takes a day or two).  Just go to (URL), click on "Create a New Account" and follow the prompts.   question from a newbie

I was motivated by the Wizard of Oz mocs to post something, but I realized I have no idea how. Am I right, the only way to post is to have a brickshelf account, or a webpage, I can't just paste, or upload? Angela (20 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt)

  Re: Lavender Brick Society
