  Re: Need help identifying part.

(...) That is it! And I actually looked at all the Technic sets in Star Wars.I I guess I missed one. But thank you very much. John (19 years ago, 20-Aug-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Need help identifying part.

(...) Hi John, from your description I'm 99% certain it's the Hailfire droid wheel: (URL) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Need help identifying part.

(...) Sounds like it might be the wheels from this set? (URL) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Need help identifying part.

I will try to describe this as best as I can.I do not have a digital camera or I would post a link to it.Well, here goes, it is round, overal diameter 8 3/8inches +-,inside diameter is 6 3/4 inches +-,at first glance it looks like a bike wheel. The (...) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-06, to lugnet.parts)

Re: doin' that wishin' thing again

(...) thanks for the cross posting, allan, forgot about that group. i'm going to continue work on the folder, always with the hope that someone really is looking at it in places that count. (19 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: doin' that wishin' thing again

(...) deborah, That original thread has been one of my favorites since you first started it. For those who may have missed it the first time around, I dug up the link: (URL) liked your ideas then... and still do. I'm also still hoping for my 3x3 (...)   I feel Blue

I have been objective to the standard part colour combinations from TLG for a few years now. This post is not a bashing of new greys or browns. Axles have always been black, so to friction pins. Many parts have always been produced in few colours. (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.color, lugnet.parts, FTX) !!

Re: LEGO Name Badge Kit with 1x1 Printed Tiles

(...) Here's a scan of both complete sets of characters : (URL) printing is definitely better on the current ones. Chris (19 years ago, 20-May-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Tyre (tire) nomenclature

(...) Also lugnet.db.brictionary ;) (...) I support the idea of standardised names for tyres - I would probably vote for millimetres, as that would match better with the most of the ones molded by TLC. And I would further suggest that wheel (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary, FTX)

  Re: Tyre (tire) nomenclature

(...) Point taken - thanks. (...) The curious case of 33029 was discussed here (URL) with a good argument to stick with "system scale" for Scala parts. (...) Chris (19 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.parts)

  Re: Tyre (tire) nomenclature

(...) (ahem) That might work better with crossposting to, say, lugnet.parts or lugnet.cad.dat.parts, instead of hiding the discussion in .cad. . . (...) To clarify: that includes "local" units, i.e., stud and brick height measurements are relative (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.parts)

Re: LEGO Name Badge Kit with 1x1 Printed Tiles

(...) I suspect that the new smaller prints are less susceptible to printing errors. The more space around the letter the less tiles will have the writing snipped at the edge so you waste less of them. Tim (19 years ago, 24-Apr-06, to lugnet.parts)

Re: LEGO Name Badge Kit with 1x1 Printed Tiles

(...) Unfortunately, and inexplicably, TLG redesigned the pattterns for all of these tiles, so these are different parts.[1] (URL) the letters on the newer tiles (from set 4294192) seem consistently smaller than those in set 4677 and most seem (...)   Re: 3747 - 2006 new variant

(...) No. That does not work. I've been able to find only one functional difference (improvement) you can clearly see here : (URL) That square limit how deep, Technic bushes for instance, can be "studded"; preventing it also to be "angled". (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: 3747 - 2006 new variant

(...) Is this a functional difference? It looks like something (a 1x1 cone, maybe?) should be able to stud into the center of that square. The only 2006 sets I have with part 3747 (7893 and 6205) have the older version. (20 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.parts)

  3747 - 2006 new variant

(URL) (from (URL)) The injection point is on the underside tube, not in the side flat surface (more and more, TLC seems to place injection points on the top of studs) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) AFAIK you can't (this type of order can be placed "everywhere" in europe but is not publicized by TLC and you have to know LEGO item numbers - the ones you can see in the BOM at the end of some 2006 BIs) . Anyway, I'm afraid the Electric 2x4 (...) (20 years ago, 28-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.technic, lugnet.parts, FTX)
