  Identify parts

Hey. Can anyone help med, with identify the 2 parts on the picture ?. (URL) The part with the disc in front, must be a form for rotation sensor. The other must be a a kind of touch sensor. Can anyone tell me, from what sets these parts are coming (...) (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: spare parts for Red Beast

Hello MikeHeide, You could ask LEGO... I know there were body styling sets for the Dirt Crusher Outdoor R/C available in Germany. These parts fit on the Red Beast too. These sets were available trough LEGOLand Parks and the LEGO Stores in Koeln and (...) (18 years ago, 2-Nov-06, to lugnet.parts)

  spare parts for Red Beast

Does anybody know where i can get spare parts for the Red Beast Outdoor R/C. I bought this set at ebay and it is not complete. I hope I get lots of answers ;-). Best would be if the address is in Germany. cu MikeHeide (18 years ago, 1-Nov-06, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Announcing Advanced LEGO Lighting Systems

(...) Can't wait to see some more stuff from you Jordan. Welcome to the "darkside". Or would that be lightside? :P -Rob www.brickmodder.net www.lifelites.com (19 years ago, 28-Sep-06, to lugnet.parts.custom)

Re: Announcing Advanced LEGO Lighting Systems

(...) Mat, Thanks for the words of encouragement. Your suggestions are excellent. First, I should mention that I know LEGO train fans are often quite electronically-savvy and have developed their own lighting kits in some cases. I am hoping to reach (...)   Re: Announcing Advanced LEGO Lighting Systems

(...) Jordan, these look great. I've been making something similar for my own trains for awhile. Are yours constant output style? Or does the output vary with the voltage supply? It's funny, but this was something I pursued when I first got into (...) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-06, to lugnet.market.brickshops, lugnet.parts.custom)

  Re: IR train base alternative

(...) Actually a typical bridge rectifier will drop ~1.4 volts in the supply. That's alot! About a 16% drop in voltage, and a 29% drop in overall power at the top end. I'm not sure what effect this would have on the control circuitry. Mat (19 years ago, 27-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

  Re: IR train base alternative

(...) i never really tested it to see what the drop was. i can't imagine it was much though. ondrew (19 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

  Re: IR train base alternative

(...) Ondrew, how did you handle the voltage drop through the bridge rectifier? Did you measure any top-speed dropout? Curious, ---Will (19 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

  Re: Need help identifying part.

(...) That is it! And I actually looked at all the Technic sets in Star Wars.I I guess I missed one. But thank you very much. John (19 years ago, 20-Aug-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Need help identifying part.

(...) Hi John, from your description I'm 99% certain it's the Hailfire droid wheel: (URL) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Need help identifying part.

  Need help identifying part.

I will try to describe this as best as I can.I do not have a digital camera or I would post a link to it.Well, here goes, it is round, overal diameter 8 3/8inches +-,inside diameter is 6 3/4 inches +-,at first glance it looks like a bike wheel. The (...) (19 years ago, 19-Aug-06, to lugnet.parts)

Re: doin' that wishin' thing again

(...) thanks for the cross posting, allan, forgot about that group. i'm going to continue work on the folder, always with the hope that someone really is looking at it in places that count. (19 years ago, 18-Aug-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: doin' that wishin' thing again

(...) deborah, That original thread has been one of my favorites since you first started it. For those who may have missed it the first time around, I dug up the link: (URL) liked your ideas then... and still do. I'm also still hoping for my 3x3 (...)   Re: IR train base alternative

(...) Actually, it would be easy enough for someone with electronics and microcontroller experience just to build a new receiver. You typically record the IR signals on a PC, figure out how they're coded, then program a microcontroller to decode (...)   Re: IR train base alternative

(...) I’m still trying to figure all that out. If I make 20+ at a time it wouldn't be horrible but it's still a little time consuming. Here’s a short list of components 1 IR receiver base <not listed on bricklink yet so ???...??? 2 28guage 4 strand (...)   Re: IR train base alternative

  Re: IR train base alternative

(...) i'd be happy to take some detailed photos but i suspect that the person will need to see the circut in person. from what i can tell the control circut that takes the IR signal and makes the thing work is buryed under a black blob. i should (...)   Re: IR train base alternative

(...) It would be a useful exercise for someone with electronics skills to (if possible) figure out the IR stuff and draw up a circuit diagram for the IR baseplate piece. (19 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod)
