| A couple weeks back I posted a pretty critical but not mean-spirited (IMHO) critique of the mall tour as it passed near me (reference message Dear Lego n=2518). I was then contacted by Jeff Ardis the tour manager by e-mail. He stated that indeed (...) | Northern Utah Wal-Mart stores have now begun their LEGO clearance. Most sets are around 25% off but a few Ninja sets went straight to 50%. | The Murray TRU had the buckets, too--and most of the "new for summer" sets, too. Now, how do I go about justifying 250 bucks (UCS:TIE=$100 + UCS:XWING=$150) for little piles of plastic?! | The Layton, Utah, Toys R Us store has four Podracer buckets as of 6/30/00. They are priced at $24.99 each. | AWESOME! thanks for the tip, ashley. i really don't have the money but couldn't pass up the 5986 amazon ancient ruins for $45.00 and 4970 chrome crusher for $16.00. in my opinion, these prices more closely reflect what the sets are worth. i don't (...)
