It's very likely that I'm going to be late to tomorrow's meeting, and I'm not sure that Gus will be there when the meeting starts either, but I just wanted everyone to know that tomorrow's SMART meeting is on anyway. What happens to the time? In just a week we've got our last SMART meeting before our summer break. (This will also be our last SMART meeting at the current DigiPen facilities.) We had a small, but wonderful SMART meeting last Saturday. While the turnout was smaller than usual, nearly everyone brought a robot, and four people brought stair climbing robots! We had a great meeting last Saturday. A number of robots were able to complete the mini-challenge. Everyone who built a robot for the challenge agreed this was one of the more interesting ones to work on. The March meeting is in four weeks. Since (...) The mini-challenge is to build an Obstacle Avoiding Target Seeker (OATS) robot: a 4"x4" retroreflective target will be placed on the ground exactly six feet directly in front of (...) Thanks to everyone that showed up on Saturday, we had a great 10th anniversary meeting! There were a number of good rope climbing robots! As well as some other interesting robots that people brought.
