One more week until our next SMART meeting. Just a reminder that we'll be meeting at the Renton Technical College instead of our usual location. This is because Gus and I are giving a presentation on the NXT at the SRS meeting in the morning. You (...) (18 years ago, 10-Mar-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Inspired by the gentleman selling NXTs for $200 (I didn't have a checkbook with me or I probably would have got one), I did some searching on the web (I think I used Froogle) and found them for $199.99 from A Child's Delight, a toy store in (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

(...) Thank you. (...) This robot was just finished before the meeting so the ears went on but I never got a chance to program them. The idea is just as you describe and I did try use the View feature to see how directional the sound sensor is. My (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

What a terrific meeting we had yesterday! I was really blown away by all the walking robots people built. There were 7 fully working robots, and many other prototypes that people brought as well. As usual, every design was different. Some robots (...) (18 years ago, 29-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)
