Here are a couple of 'work in progress' pictures of the Easter Egg Hunt arena: (URL) black top has curled a bit, but we'll tape it down before using it. The holes will have white tape around them (I think you said in a previous posting), so if there are robots that may fall into the holes, they could detect the edge of the circle before falling in (they'll need to in order to deposit the egg, (...) (...) All good questions. I was just starting to build the arena today (making larger at 8'x6'), though I haven't cut the holes yet. I think a larger arena makes sense, so that it doesn't get too crowded. What size will the holes in the corners of the table be? How far away from the walls will the center of each hole be? (I'm trying to figure out if my wall detection will prevent (...) (19 years ago, 19-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

With our next SMART meeting a bit more than a week away, I wanted to tell everyone that the Easter Egg Hunt arena will be available from probably 11am for people to try it out, and make changes to their robots or programs as required.
