  Re: Brickfest thanks

(...) <snip> (...) If you folks did a fest in the fall, I don't think it would impact Brickfest at all. After all, Mindfest really wasn't all that different an event from Brickfest (it just had robotics as the central theme rather than train, and (...)   Re: Brickfest thanks

(...) While I think the Enfield trip would be cool, and it actually has been brought up several times at meetings, I don't know if we should try a brickfest event. This is only because I think at the moment 1 is probably enough and Washington DC is (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Do we have any train/town nuts around here?

(...) Hey Town is part of Train isn't it ;-). Kidding aside I think every good train layout needs a town to go with it. If we were ever to attempt a train layout I don't think I would expect everyone to bring Train engines and freight cars. I think (...)   Re: Do we have any train nuts around here?

(...) I've said this in person, but I'll mention it here as well for the sake of, um, well for some reason. :) I really dig Lego trains, but Mindstorms/Technic + Space + Town already exceed my Lego Budget. Trains would make a really expensive (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Re: Do we have any train nuts around here?

(...) I take it from the reponse, and lack there of, that there isn't much in the way of train heads up here in New England (At least that read these newsgroups).   Re: Follow the travels of Bitter Bob and the NELUG Boxcar...

(...) What!?! How could you *say* that? I'm a New Englander, and I'm not bitter about *anything*! Well. Except maybe this stereotype you're foisting off on us. Wait. Dang. I guess it's true, then.   Follow the travels of Bitter Bob and the NELUG Boxcar...

Well this morning I shipped of the NELUG Boxcar to the folks at GMLTC for the kidvention in July. After the kidvention the Boxcar will be routed north to be included in the PNLTC world record event. Included with the boxcar is Bitter Bob a local (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

Re: Do we have any train nuts around here?

(...) Hmm, no, although I was having some problems viewing it. I uploaded it again and it seems to be OK now. On the other hand, I seem to be having weird difficulties with the Javascript I used and my new copy of Netscape. It works fine on PC (...)   Re: Do we have any train nuts around here?

Re: Do we have any train nuts around here?

(...) ...just to but my head in here on the subject of trains and shows. wamalug started as a train group but has since expanded far beyond it, but we still love doing shows.   Do we have any train nuts around here?

Or not so nuts that do some train stuff occasionally... I was just wondering if there were any train nuts in NELUG or in the local Boston area. I have only done a couple of models so far and I now finally have an engine to run around my little oval (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)
