Aaaah. OK. I thought maybe someone had been in touch and tried to tell you
they had some kind of right to the domain. There are a number of reasons that
we have an ironclad case with the InterNIC for keeping the name, though, so I
don't think we have a lot to worry about there.

It's not that odd. Lugnet is not a not-for-profit organisation (which is what
.org is for), nor is it a network service provider (which is what .net is for).
For the same reason, NELUG shouldn't register nelug.com or nelug.net.

Well. Assuming they did try for it, they couldn't force us to give it up; we
registered it first, it is our name, and we are actively using it.

Maybe it was something he did when he had the origional idea for LUGNET and later switched to .com but he does also own .org Eric Kingsley, The New England LEGO Users Group (URL) (...)
