Welcome to the group! Just to follow up on what Joe said (below),
directions to NELUG's regular meetingplaces can be found on the NELUG
website or just to the left of the NELUG message board on the Lugnet
Newsgroup Webpage. Look for info on The Construction Site or Bison County.

Because of my work schedule it's hard for me to attend meetings on
weeknights in Eastern Mass (I'm in Greenfield and work until 6:30pm). I've
only been to one so far, but it was fun. It was the first time I met adults
in person who were as interested in this hobby as I am (some of them more
so). It was especially great to see some of the MOCs they brought.
Keep checking the threads in this group, and/or sign on to the mailing list
at the NELUG site to see when upcoming meetings are. If you find there
hasn't been a meeting in a while, just post suggesting one, and people will
probably chime in. Like Joe said, there might be one in the next week as
discussed elsewhere in this thread...
