  Train Tables
 
I thought about bringing this up at the meeting, but maybe some other people out there have some thoughts on this too-- But I was thinking about redesigning any future tables (still compatible of course) after seeing WAMALUG's tables (I forget who (...) Actually I have thought of about most of these redesigns. Many of them the main differance in my mind is Cost. I think our tables everything included run us under $15 per table. I think the folding legs cost about $16 per pair, or $32 per table... (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Tom Cook designed them, but I can clarify some things here... (...) Still compatible is important! (...) I actually don't think of them as light, but i'm a wuss - and it scares me that your tables are heavier! Tom could tell you what width wood and (...) Eric - I'll get to your message when i get some more info, i don't remember how much the tables cost, but you're right, more than $15 each! :) I seem to remember an $800 bill, but I can't recall how many that is for, etc. David - For our (...) (...) Ah, ok.. for some reason I seemed to remember being told it was about an hour for setup at a train show-- must be the blurr from the Brickfest affecting my brain. (...) What do you mean? We are close to the doors!!! So what if their the fire exits. Besides in Wilmington I don't know how close to the doors we would want to be. I went out to the Lobby last show and it was crazy and their wasn't a lot of room (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) Sorry, i meant the big back doors (huge garage doors) :) and we're not like flush up against them or anything, just "nearest to" compaired to the other layouts.
