Re: Skirts for Tables at GATS

(...) thank you! I like the idea of using perma press sheets. The fabric is more tightly woven and has a heavier hand than most yardage of comparable cost. This makes it hang well. I think NCLUG is going to have plexiglass clamped to the front lip (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug)

Re: Skirts for Tables at GATS

(...) Just to clarify: The only show where we were *required* to have flame-retardent skirting was the NMRA 'National' show. Our tables had a 1x3 (?) board running vertically as the outside edge, the velcro was hidden on the inside. It gave a nice (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Skirts for Tables at GATS

I've heard the tales of show requiring "fire proof" skirts, but I've never had a show here in Atlanta make that request. We did the simplest thing we could think of and just bought some inexpensive bed sheets at Wal-Mart. I found some nice dark (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug)

  Skirts for Tables at GATS

Re: GATS Train SHow (was Get together Saturday)

(...) I won't want very many tables for personal use yet, it will also depend on what kind of legs we use.   Re: GATS Train SHow (was Get together Saturday)

I like layout 2 and 5 the best, but any of them besides 1 is fine. With 16 large and 4 small tables, any of the layouts shown can be made. Since at least 12 large are required for any of the layouts, it would seem pretty reasonable to sign up to (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug)

Re: GATS Show in Raleigh/ June 23-24, 2001

25x25 is a good size to ask for I've found, the NGLTC layout this year was 18'x18' with the KRR 6'x6' with a 20'x20' space we went over the allotted area but it worked out fine. Next time I'll ask for more space. The drag strip is about 15' long (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.loc.us.nc, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)
