Meeting with some people in South Bend —Scott Sanburn
To All, I had the pleasure of meeting Chad SMith the other night at his house, where he showed me his collection and had a good talk about everything. He has some awesome space items and creations, as well as an outstanding layout of Wild West (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Peter Guenther
(...) I still think we can put Castle stuff into our train layout by having a Renaissance Festival! When we've got enough space... not a good idea for Grand Rapids. We could always bill the Wild West as a theme park... Peter (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Tony Hedglen
(...) I’ve already thought of that. I have the Wild West fort and I was thinking about making it a tourist trap. I haven’t done much with it though. When I was in Texas there was a part of Fort Worth called the “Stock Yards”. I thought that maybe we (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Scott E. Sanburn
Tony & All, (...) Indeed. (...) Yes, I will talk to him later. Scott (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Scott E. Sanburn
Peter & All, (...) Indeed. I don't think we will able to do much with GR GATS, unfortunately. I think most of the train yard can be substituted for Steve's, and if we do have more, we can do it then. Otherwise, we can do it at Tony's Event. I like (...)         Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Chris Leach
(...) Cool <Knock him out real quit ,brain wash him to think he's a michiganger and we can assimilate him into MichLUG/MichLTC.> (...) Yep Scott i did say say something about that.I think we could build a huge wildwest setup in Lansing.I have a copy (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Scott E. Sanburn
To All, < snipped meeting Chad Smith > (...) What a way to enter the club. "Hey, Chad, would you like to join our club? Hey, look, it's John Engler! [WHACK] ; ) (...) He also has real nice Wild West Train engine, which would be neat to have also. (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Tony Hedglen
(...) After we “whack” him we could put him in front of a movie screen with pitchers of robins singing, with the Mackinac Bridge in the background. Then we could be chanting, “it’s called pop not soda”. Then he will be sucked in and will teach him (...) (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Peter Guenther
(...) Don't they say pop in Indiana? I went to college on the East Coast where I was brainwashed into saying soda, but I thought they said pop pretty much throughout the US. I know they say it in Ohio... This should probably FUT to some off-topic (...) (23 years ago, 5-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Meeting with some people in South Bend —Tony Hedglen
(...) Well my mom really likes to go, so I don’t have to talk he into it. I give her 60 bucks and she buys anything that has “Lego” on it. I had to teach her what to look for. She didn’t get a chance to go this weekend. (Boo Hoo.) The guy at work (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
