I think the "SS" stands for sub-surface as in a submarine. Otherwise what would
SSN mean. Quick quiz Rick what does the aircraft carrier designation CV stand
for.

Basicly a Missile boat or an Ohio-Class/Typhoon-Class. an SSN is a (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
