Re: Ambassador Train - What do we want to do? —Scott Sanburn
Larry and all, Sorry I have been late in responding, I was rather busy this morning. (Gotta love metric badly dimensioned drawings!) (...) Right. Is there a defunct rail company around here that has a symbol or something? That would be nifty. Or is (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Ambassador Train - What do we want to do? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I like Pere Marquette. It's an easy herald to do... Nice fully saturated medium sort of royal blue rectangle, with Pere Marquette in a san serif (sort of Arial) font in white. The downside is it is not very recognisable, the style of the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

To All, All right, I guess since no one is responding to this, I guess we go forward. Amy, did you have a logo for MTLC? Can we just use that one? I figure one label on each side of the container., a total of 4, correct? One with this layout: MTLC (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

(...) That would work but I was thinking two different containers. One with the MICHLUG wording and logo and URL, one with the MICHLTC wording and temp logo. That would be two different stickers, two copies of each. ++Lar (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Ambassador Train - What do we want to do? —Scott Sanburn
Amy & All, (...) Thanks, can you get that 1/8th size? (...) I don't have software capable of that here, I have to wait until tonight. Does anyone know offhand the dimensions on a 4x16 brick wall? : ) I have no bricks here to do it with! Scott (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Ambassador Train - What do we want to do? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) 4x16 is the base dimension, I think a standard container is 3 bricks and two plates high of vertical surface. See here: (URL) build containers that conform to that standard) Note that it would be best not to use the two plates, stick to just 3 (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Ambassador Train - What do we want to do? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) That works. (...) That would also work (blank containers on the bottom because they are "in the well"... that gives both upper containers "normal" 3 brick high space again) but increases cost for shipping, which I was just going to suck up.    Amy & All, (...) I was just trying to illustrate what I thought it might look like. We do have room, Larry said the size can be up to 4 studs x 16 studs in size (Rectangle) ___...___ | | | |4 studs | | |___...___| 16 studs (...) That is fine, if you (...)
