Re: Train 3 Height and Width

(...) I actually can't fit everything I am bringing in my car. BUT, one of the other members is renting a trailer already (for all of his stuff) and I dropped off 7 buildings with him last weekend. (...) After my wedding in April, I will most likely (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Train 3 Height and Width

(...) When we did GR GATS we had seven vehicles (a pickup, two SUVs and 4 cars) worth of stuff, and that didn't include the crappy tables that GATS supplies. On Friday, we drove right out onto the show floor and unloaded vehicles, then drove out (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Train Station Update

David & All, (...) Thanks! (...) I think TLC really likes this one. ($$$...$$$) : ) (...) The more, the merrier. : ) (...) Yes, indeed. (...) That's for sure! : ) I think if you did that in Minifig scale, we might need a 1000x1000 foot display! (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Train Station Update

Thats awesome!!! I like the skylight roof. Lots of window pieces went into this one. You make me want to build a station. I've always thought of doing Detroit's MCS in Lego. Or, in my dreams, a NYC Penn Station (the cool one). Always good to be (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Sluggy in Lego

Hey I just noticed an update to the Sluggy foot notes and they gave some "props" to MichLUG and even plugged them for the Con, very cool. jt (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Train Station Update

To All, Boy, I can't imagine what I did for my Brickshelf account. I will clean it up! Here is a few pics of the station, I ran out of batteries, I might retake a few. (URL) S. -- (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: Say a prayer for Precious

Amy & All, (...) Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Amy, losing a loved one, whether it is a family member or a pet, is always a hard experience. I have been through both a few times now. Scott S. -- (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Sluggy in Lego

(...) Before I read this, I already had, and extended a personal invitation for him to come see our stuff at the Con--my previous contact had been with Shirt-Guy Tom. Peter (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Say a prayer for Precious

Precious, my littlest kittie, the one in most of the church pictures, is very ill. I'm going to have to let her go in the morning. This is going to be another very long night. I'm comforted knowing she'll be with Murray, my first cat, soon, and that (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Train MOC

To me it reminds me of a shortened (majorly!) SD80MAC/SD90MAC. Here are 2 pics for a simple compairison: SD80MAC: (URL) little inset under the raised walkway behind the cab set it off! The vents are simular too. Josh (Allways know that SD90MAC!) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train MOC

(...) Well, it vaguely resembles just about any "safety cab" road switcher of recent vintage from EMD or GM. But only vaguely as it's pretty short. The radiators (at the back) look slightly more EMDish but not much. (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train MOC

(...) I like it. In the first picture you show, it looks kind of squat, but I see that isn't the case with the others. I like how you have the starwars electronic plates behind the doors. Cross Posted to .trains, to see if anyone recognizes the type (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains)

  Train MOC

While digging thru my boxes of trains I found an old MOC from before my dark ages mostly still intact. Its a red freight engine. I don't remember if its modeled after a real engine but I fixed it up a bit and got it back in working order. (URL) (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
