All six of the World City (ie Police) and all four of the Train sets for
2003 are due out in July, according to the 2003 Product Book.  Admittedly there
are a few sets that weren't even listed in the Product Book, but the only set
that lists as an August release is the 7513 Ultimate Design Studio from the
Clikits line.  Most of the summer sets are actually pretty evenly distributed
between June (Explore, Bob The Builder, Creator, Inventor, Advanced Designer,
Action Sports, Orient Expedition: China, and Clikits) and July (Technic, Hockey,
Star Wars, Train, World City, Racers, Discovery/NASA, and Bionicle Rahksi), with
a smattering of carryovers into September (4th Inventor and the remaining 10+
Bionicle: Mask of Light sets).  Spiderman and the Racers RC Turbo Racer come out
in October, and that should be it for the rest of the 2003 releases.

Um....what is this Product Book you are talking about? Could you make any scans
of it?

If I remember correctly, the Product Book is the retail book given to
authorized retailers of LEGO.  I think it is a violation of LEGO's
confidentiality code to post the scans as there are dealer prices on
them.

Yeah that's most of the 2003 sets but what is "Advanced Designer"? Are those the
Designer sets? Anyway, LEGO might pull of some surprises (e.g. Train Shed, Train
Level Crossing and I heard another monster-sized Star Wars set), so you never
know what will come out! :)

This is what LEGO has done to merge all their "basic" subthemes together
into one catch-all theme.  I highly doubt the Train Shed will be in the
retailers catalogue, because it is deemed a "Shop @ Home Exclusive" (you
can only acquire this from Lego.Com and not from individual retailers,
except where deals have been already made (like certain sets at Toys R US
and Target).

As for surprises, we'll see what gets leaked out around November, unless
LEGO decides to reveal something at Brickfest.  I clearly remember January
of 2002, when the Blacksmith Shop and the Sante Fe Engine were released
at a complete surprise.  Though, I don't mind getting the info several months
before it gets released (so my wallet gets acclimated to the increase
spending in the brick!!) :)

Well I can't wait until the World City sets come out. I have a couple of coupons
at Toys'R'Us and I'm not letting them go to waste. :P

Why not!!! Good use.  I'll probably have to wait until next year, so I can
get the 50% off, or at least until January, when the Ebay gets flodded with
all those luscious discounts at other less demanded areas.

(...) No, those are retailer catalogs. I've seen those, and they're about the size of a magazine. The Product Books are about 7.5" square, and they're made available to everyone who attends the LEGO Toy Fair showroom. (...) I won't name names, but I (...)
