I'm sure this is the case for almost everyone else: I am completely dedicated to our group and would love to attend any and all gatherings, but there just always seems to be a major stumbling block to my attendance. In my opinion it would be great if we could have a meeting every 2 – 3 months. In order to get as many people as possible to attend, we are having a poll in order to get your input. We will have lots of counter space and tables for your mockups. We will also have drinks and some snack. Since there hasn't been a meeting in almost a year, I am hoping that we have lots of people showing up. Hope to see you all there. Our family was out on a road trip yesterday, and stopped by the event. It appeared to be very successful with lots of public participation. New details for the building event here in Ontario over the memorial day weekend. Dan Brown will be in from Entfield, and will supervise the building of a very large scale aligator model. At the LEGO outlet store in the Ontario Mills Mall, there will be a building event. A master builder will be on hand to assist as the public is invited to participate in building a large scale alligator model. I will try to get more details to (...) SCLTC will return to Fullerton Railroad Days (FRRD) for the fifth consecutive year in May 2006 with one of its largest operating LEGO train displays ever. A new Model Builder Search for 2006 kicks off at LEGOLAND California on Monday February 20th. The park will hold auditions for someone to eventually win a job as a LEGOLAND Master Model Builder. Sorry for the short notice. I've been asked by a local Science Fiction/gaming convention to organize a LEGO room for the con. Sort of a mini LEGO convention. (...) Plenty of space at my place. We usually hang out in the LEGO area aka the garage and have tables flow into the driveway. If you have space to bring tables go for it.
