I realized that.  I was guilty of not responding, so I figured starting a
new one was a good way to go.  It helped to heal my guilt :)

Guilt is good :)

Yucky indeed! Too bad that this area (roads) of LEGO isn't fully compatable.

After examining Kevin's Baseplate stash I think Grey is the way to go we can
easily mix Old Grey and New Grey.

If diplays that are built on Green don't worry about it for now we will work
that out later..
Build with what you got.. You need to start somewhere.

Well, I guess we all have been on the same wavelength lately.  I have spent
time the last few days washing my baseplates and I have just provided my
baseplate and track inventory in the message just before this one.  This
should help with the planning.

Kevin I added your Stuff to the Projects Page.

I've been working up some TD layouts, trying to leave ample room, and having
mediocre results.  Trains aren't my strong suit.  I think the best way is to
have a meeting and try stuff in the ABS and have a copy of TD there to
transcribe to.

No that we have some idea on what we have I am looking at 3 layouts. I am slowly
trying to blend function and display at the same time.

Now we need a venue and a deadline to work with to keep our motivation levels
high.  How does a practice layout sound ??  Worth the effort??

I Think we need to have another meeting before we start thinking show. We are
in no way ready display wise to do it because everything has been ideas and
possible layouts. I'd like something firm before we go out and get a display
date.

I've been thinking, has anyone (besides Wayne) talked to local toy
shops/major retailers about doing a display at a shop?  TRU comes to mind as
being very receptive to AFOLs in the past, via sculpture.
If everyone could pick one shop in their area, I'm sure we could cover a
lot of ground.

YES

Hmmmm Meeting dates.  11th and 18th I have other things planned 25th so far I
am free.

Wayne
