  Maze robot testing

I've been thinking about putting together a maze robot for NEIRG. Last night it went from "thinking" to "doing" as I built a prototype. Now I'm wondering, how do I test thing thing? I've never really spent much time making a maze running robot, and (...) (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Alternatives for 3T... 4T?

I don't know where this person got the idea from, but it looks nicely implemented. I've been playing around with a 4T version of mine (as well as 4x4 checkers, or chess, or something like 3 Man's Morris), but haven't gotten beyond defining a 4x4 (...)   GBC siding control - status

I built quite a nice sensor, neatly landscaped into a small rocky roadcut... and then realized it would require two RCX inputs, which I didn't consider acceptable. So I thought about it and rebuilt, but didn't "pretty it up" yet. However, it works. (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Blue tooth fairy?

(...) My-Life: update... The CD itself says "GPS Bluetooth V1.1". There is nothing in any of the programs to suggest a manufacturer. I can't get any of the programs that came with it to work. They all come up, and appear to function, but don't read (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Bluetooth GPS

Steve, Have you popped in the CD that came with it? Maybe something in there will at least give us a shot at figuring out what GPS chipset it is using. I'd be interested in knowing the specs for it. John (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Bluetooth GPS

(...) I'm interested in a BlueTooth GPS as well. If you don't want it, you can send it my way. Since you didn't order it. On the very off chance that you actually want to keep it, perhaps you could let us know what model it is, and how good it (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Bluetooth GPS

Ok, so I've been searching the web for a Bluetooth GPS. But, I really don't think I ordered one. Heck, I'm getting old. Maybe I forgot. So, I checked my mail, and in the back of my mail box, there's a plain white box. No address or any markings. I (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: 3T Practice Session

Here's the promised pictures. Only a few because I was too distracted actually doing robot stuff to take many pictures. No movie yet. I'll work on that. (URL) (19 years ago, 18-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: 3T Practice Session

Glad you could make it. It was nice to see another working robot, and if I wasn't so stuck on using my giant arm, I would probably try to build a gantry system like the rest of you since it seems to work better (or at least faster). Its always nice (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  3T Practice Session

Just wanted to let everyone know how much fun I had at the practice session yesterday. I had some good learning this weekend. I already tore down the robot and removed the RCX from the moving structure last night. This seemed to up the speed a (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)
