  Three old MOCs
 
Hi all, I've taken pictures of three MOCs built in the past year or so for IndyLUG's GATS layout. The LEGO website now has set 4729, Dumbledore's Office for half price ($25). Christina Hitchcock just announced that clubs are encouraged to bring their banners to Brickfest this summer for display. ((URL) I would like to take the IndyLUG banner there. 2nd Annual Midwest Lego Train Show NILTC is pleased to announce that we will be holding the 2nd Annual Midwest Lego Train Show in Wheaton, IL December 4-5th. (...) I've always thought of making a yellow robot/mecha for quite a while, as yellow's kinda been one of my favorite Lego colors since I was a kid. How did you settle on the yellow/trans flouro green color scheme? I also saw a civilian space craft contest entry in that same scheme, only with gray mixed in.   IndyLUG showing at 500 Kids Festival in Indianapolis
 
IndyLUG is exibiting a layout at the 500 Kids Festival on Saturday May 1 on Monument Circle in Indianapolis. The show is from 11 am - 3 pm. Admittance is free. We will be having a Town/Train layout with a replica of the Speedway, and a Moonbase (...)   Hall of Fame Museum Indianapolis Motor Speedway

(...) I made a trip to the Woodfield store in March. If you're looking for standard LEGO bricks (2x4 brick) they had a very nice assortment of colors. As I mentioned at the last meeting, I will be going up to the LEGO store in Chicago sometime in the end of April or beginning of May. Actually, the library was more of a test building, as I plan on building a large courthouse using the library 'format' for the most part, with some different column heads, 2 floors at least, etc. I'll (...)
