  Re: GATS Layout uncouplers

(...) I was told there probably was not enough bricks or time to get the uncouplers into all the sides...but perhaps we could get at least one in the rail going to the round house. In any case, I do have most all the parts to make up to 8 (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Updated track layout and registry

Hi all, I missed the meeting yesterday, but don't think I haven't been busy! I've updated the track layout to reflect the most recent changes that I know about. I'm sure that there were more changes today, so the file will need updated yet again. (...) (21 years ago, 8-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: GATS Layout uncouplers

Hi John, Sounds like you've been putting a lot of work in on your uncouplers. We've been meeting every Sunday at 2:00 to work on the layout and it would probably be beneficial for you to drop by with some of your stuff to see what would be the best (...)   Re: Versions 2 and 3 of micromotorized crossing gates.

(...) My first one had the elastic, but Steve Martin said it was ugly. Well, okay, he actually said something like it looked realistic, but his face had ugly written all over it. :) I agree about the jamming 66 2/3% (see (URL) fact is that the (...)   Re: Build date Sunday, Sept. 7

Well, crap. Turns out I won't be able to make it to the build session this Sunday after all. I have Tuesday off instead, so I'm going to use that day to build at my parents' house. I requested Sept. 14 off for the meeting, so if I'm scheduled to (...) (21 years ago, 6-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Re: Versions 2 and 3 of micromotorized crossing gates.

(...) Very nice and compact, but I would have to agree with other posts that you should use an elastic between the motor and the gate arm. The other point I learned the hard way, is that unless you are using an RCX1, you need to program (...) (21 years ago, 6-Sep-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.trains)
