  July 2003 meeting minutes

We met July 9, 2003. We didn't have a formal meeting. I also forgot (again) to take attendance. We talked about the August Road Show: * We discussed some audience-participation ideas, such as a "guess the number of parts" contest. I think Leah said (...)   LEGO Road Show

Since I won't be able to be at the meeting Sunday due to Brickfest I was wondering if someone would post info about the clubs plans for the Road Show? I'd love to participate. Brian (21 years ago, 5-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: GATS and domain name

(...) Eric, We should have money if Steve Martin ever got a check from the photo shoot. If he hasn't we can take a collection at Sundays meeting. mark (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  GATS and domain name

Couple things: 1) Got confirmation back from GATS that we are on hold for the show. That means that as soon as they finalize the floor plan, we'll get confirmed. They have us booked for a 40x40 space, which includes any railings we want to put up. (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Castleland Adventure Park

Leah, I've been thinking about amusement rides for castleland. I'm working on a carousel. It's 48 x 48 studs and powered by a Microscout. I'll probably make it 64 x 48 so I can add a queue, gate and operator. I've got a life-size chess board (life (...) (21 years ago, 4-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: Court House

(...) Mark, Very nice. I really like the idea of the weathered copper roof! That's a nice touch to really set your courthouse apart. Can't wait to see the finished model. Brian Darrow (21 years ago, 25-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Court House

Hi, Very cool. Including mine that makes two courthouses in two weeks. Funny since we haven't seen any before (at least that my searches found). I like your color scheme. I've been working on something similar. I like the windows too, though the (...) (21 years ago, 25-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Court House

Here is the Court House I have been working on for the last week. (URL) As you can see it is built up upon baseplates to acheive stairs and small lawn area.   Re: Clearance Sale

Mark, The Spybots are very useful as long as you treat them like Spybots--interactive, mission-oriented robots. They are less useful for general robotics. Quite useful for remote control vehicles, especially if they need a dash of intelligence. The (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Brickfest Container Swap Prototype

Worked on this prototype this evening. Hope you like the color scheme and the decals. I have most of the pieces to complete the estimated 15-20 containers, but those darn dark gray tiles are scarce as hen's teeth. I thought the checkered flag gave (...)
