(...) Jeffrey, I enjoyed the perspective of the show from a mini-fig level. You have some great shots. Thanks for sharing. Brian P.s. I didn't think anyone noticed the "bunny sniper" but obviously you did. (19 years ago, 15-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.ulug, FTX)

Once Again I am the slow guy. Just kidding. Oh and our apologies about not posting an announcement for the show before it happened. I almost did once, but got busy doing other things. We will fix that for the next show. Just as Brian said it was a (...) (19 years ago, 15-Feb-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.ulug, FTX)

To all, Over the weekend (February 9th and 10th) ULUG participated at the Great Train Expo in Salt Lake City. This is our second show together. Our last (URL) show> was a success but we still needed to work out a few minor issues. We were warmly (...) I'm forwarding this from the Washington FLL yahoo group. I would consider doing this but at this time I'm not sure what weeks this summer I will be in the Seattle area. Poulsbo is also a bit of a drive (and ferry ride) from Seattle. But in case any (...) (19 years ago, 10-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

 | | Re: RCX controlled GBC train drawbridge

(...) One down side here, is that the "ball-lift" must be shut-off when the bridge is raised, and the controller for the ball lift is on the "bridge" (other) side of the opening. But, along those lines, if there is a bin to catch lose balls, the (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

(...) Heres a thought. Just have the slope going in the other direction. That way when it lifts, the balls keep rolling the same direction. (Faster and efficient!) If the raising is too bumpy, just find a way to place a third or fourth overhead rail (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

(...) Not long at all. With the 3'+ slopping double-beam track I had at BF '06, I think it only took less than five seconds for them to clear the end... and that was for a *very* shallow slope. Given the time it takes to lift and lower the bridge, (...) (19 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.org.us.laflrc)
