   To all,

Over the weekend (February 9th and 10th) ULUG participated at the Great Train Expo in Salt Lake City. This is our second show together. Our last show was a success but we still needed to work out a few minor issues.

I would appreciate any and all feedback on how we can continue to improve.

I have never done a show, but, I am very impressed with the adjustments you’ve made and how quickly you made them since the last show. Also, the openness to feedback and constantly striving to improve are exceptional qualities.

Thanks. I feel there is a LEGO standard that needs to be maintained when it comes to train lay-outs. We are far from examplary but we hope to not disappoint.

How well received are things like the airplane crash and burning cars? I am just wondering if they might hit close to home for some people. (This is not at all a knock, I’m just curious)

Those were contributing by the TFOLS and it comes down to playing nice. I, too, wondered the same questions but I heard a lot of people say, “Look a plane crash!” with excitment in their voice about the find. I think the burning car was overlooked by most people who do not follow mecha. I didn’t hear any complaints personally or complaints received by other members.

The plane crash was hidden from the casual observer ... to a point.

I love the skateboard guy! Reminds me of my younger days. (wearing casts from broken bones)

I’m glad you liked it. I called it a “Bench Plant” on the “I spy”??? Is that correct? I am not a skater and the closet “google” definition I could find was a “Street plant”.

Jonathan

Thanks

(...) That is good to hear. I kind of figured as much. (...) I'm not to sure about what the term is for it.
