Re: Cosmic Rendezvous - SciBrick Event Report —James Trobaugh
(...) Sweet! I saw the pictures today on Brickshelf and was hoping you'd post something soon to explain the event, very nice. And I like how you've continued the tradition of getting attractive women to pose with your models...maybe Mecha ain't so (...) (21 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.scibrick)

Re: Cosmic Rendezvous - SciBrick Event Report —Tim Courtney
(...) After seeing that, I think I need to learn how to build mecha! -Tim (21 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.scibrick)

Re: Cosmic Rendezvous - SciBrick Event Report —Bruce Hietbrink
(...) I have two competing theories: 1. Attractive women are drawn to giant blue mecha. or 2. Eric is just so charming that when he asks women to pose they say yes. Having never met Eric in Real Life, and also never having built mecha with which to (...) (21 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.scibrick)

Re: Cosmic Rendezvous - SciBrick Event Report —Derek Schin
(...) Hey Tim, building mecha ain't gonna help YOU meet women. Ha! I kill me! And as for Bruce's theories... (...)         Re: Cosmic Rendezvous - SciBrick Event Report —Tim David
That looks like a cool event and a very good selection of sci-fi models, One thing though, (and this is not just aimed at Eric or anyone else in particular) would it be posible to have a caption on photos of AFOLs, its nice to put a face to a name.         Re: Cosmic Rendezvous - SciBrick Event Report —Aaron Sneary
(...) SNIP (...) Eric, Joe, and Felix I've talked to you a lot about the event, but I still don't have a good feeling for how many astronauts (well known or otherwise) and other dignitaries attended.         Re: Cosmic Rendezvous - SciBrick Event Report —Joe Meno
(...) Well, to be blunt, the high profile astronauts were no-shows. Same for the politicians.
