No, really not a big problem...just use low melt (either 60-40, or a real low
melt solder) to make electrical jumpers around the gaps. If you do it right,
the gaps are fairly small anyway (hint, use a 2x8 plate as a cutting guide, and
a jewelers saw to cut the plastic, along with a dremel to cut the metal)
I think I have posted about how I make shortened track in .trains, perhaps a
look will give you some ideas. It's not hard, but might be hard on the purist
:)
