Mark,
What you describe is exactly what we have been saying all along, and what I
tried to also explain last night -- the concept of Public Events.
Until such time as the majority of the members of the VLC deem it
unnecessary, there will be two types of events: Members only, and Public.
Member events are open only to members for the reasons already explained in
this forum and last night. Public events are precisely that -- an event of
anything from displays to shows to discussions to seminars etc. open to the
public at large. This is explained in this forum, on the VLC web site and
at last night's meeting.
These are all wonderful ideas -- the question becomes, who is willing to
undertake the task?

| So... let's talk about it. I think it wouldn't be a bad idea for a meeting to have one or two people speak who've been to LEGOland. I haven't gone there yet, and I think it'd it'd be a real hoot to hear about somebody's experiences there. Maybe a (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
