For the NEXT Lego dinner (September 2003) would you prefer

To be fair there is ample parking at this Swiss Chalet.  You just might
have to pay a small fee for it.

-The Kipling/Dundas Swiss Chalet, far from the subway, but with ample parking

The rumor of ample parking at this location is exaggerated.  One evening
I was unable to get a spot in the lot and had to circle for about 15
minutes before one became available.

Calum, you have said on many occasions that the location for our dinners
should try to be convenient to both the Subway and vehicles.  Where
Mel's is easily accessed by the subway, it is not a good location to
drive to.  The parking is expensive and difficult.  However the Kipling
Swiss Chalet is to far in the other direction, it is a long walk from
the subway and with the fall and winter seasons approaching is not a
fair option for those that would use the subway.  I think the Royal York
Swiss Chalet is a happy medium between the to extremes.  It is
convenient to the Subway, and has both pay, and free parking within a
reasonable distance of the restraint.
