Hi,

I was at the St. Jacob's Outlet Mall on Wednesday and pickins are pretty
slim at the LEGO Outlet.  The only things that I saw that might be worthy of
a trip are the Gungan Sub co-pack for $39.99 and if you look at the sales
counter very closely, they have some rotation sensors for $19.99.  They also
have LEGO picture frames and cell phone cases.  I felt badly walking out
with nothing in my hands :(

Specials are not that great right now...they are remodelling and things are
a bit disorganized.  I'm just waiting for July and the new train sets.

Bob

I live in Kitchener and my in-laws are in London.  I was at the Toy Shop
last summer and at their old store (on Hyde Park Road past Fanshawe).  It
has a nice selection, however I found it a bit on the pricey side.

Sad to say, but true.  I have noticed that as well over the last few years.

Apparently the new store currently has two large scale LEGO models (built by
the company, I believe).  One is a large Harry Potter (lifesize) and the
other is... I forget.  Sorry.  :(

I guess
if there was something I really wanted that was not available elsewhere, I
would buy there.  I'm spoiled with the LEGO Outlet in St. Jacob's just five
minutes from where I work.

Not a bad place to work near.  :)

Any chance you'd be able to post in-store specials or clearance items from
time to time?  I can get there fairly easily, but normally wouldn't unless
there's something I'm looking for.  Having said that of course, I'm likely
going there before the weekend's out.

I have to say I have not bought much new LEGO lately except for the Twin • Pod
Cloud Cars and Soccer sets before Christmas from the Kitchener TRU.

I was very impressed by the selection of red parts in the Cloud Car sets.
Especially the 2x2 45 degree convex slopes.  One of my favorite parts, and
there are four in each set!  I also like the red wedges, both top and bottom
style.

All the best,
Allan B.
