I was the one who mentioned the TRU in London ;)

And I looked for you the last time I was there, but didn't see you.  ;)

O.K. that's not true.  I just bought a couple of the 1/2 price Twin-pod
Cloud Cars... but it did cross my mind that another adult fan had been there.

Have you been to the new location of 'The Toy Shop of London'?  I was
talking to the owner on the phone the other day and he tells me the store is
now about 9000 square feet.  I'm curious to stop in sometime and see it.

He also mentioned his tent event that runs each summer, during which he
features LEGO models, a play area for the kids etc.  He suggested that if I
knew of people who had large models to display that he would consider using
them for the event.

I live half an hour north of london, near the town of Exeter. I don`t know
of anyone else in this area....

I know Exeter fairly well.  Though it's not normally on the route from
Stratford (where I am) to London, I have been through it many times.

I would hope... or would think, that there would be at least a couple more
of us within the hour's drive radius of London.  Especially considering
London is such an itty bitty town of only 300,000 people.  :)

As well Gerard... just an FYI in case you're interested.  You may want to
take a peak at this posting:

Since you are one of the types of people it was aimed at.  If you're
interested, please let me know.  :)

Best regards,
Allan B.

Hi, I live in Kitchener and my in-laws are in London. I was at the Toy Shop last summer and at their old store (on Hyde Park Road past Fanshawe). It has a nice selection, however I found it a bit on the pricey side. I guess if there was something I (...) (21 years ago, 7-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on)
