Re: Train 4: Coming Soon —David Koudys
(...) So does the ramp up to the top platform start at the switch or after the first curve? I'm starting to put something together now. Dave K (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

<snip> This is what I was going for but I have no time to complete it at all...         Re: Train 4: Coming Soon —Jeff Elliott
Looks great, Dave! Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier about track heights. The joint between Ramp2 and Ramp 1 is exactly 4 bricks elevation. "Standard" track height on the layout is 1 plate (to allow curves, switches, etc). I adhere to the (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) <snip> We're good then 'cause at the end of my second curve I'm at exactly 4 bricks high :) Then I hand off to you... I have eliminated all landscaping *sigh*, and am in the process of filling the module with misc buildings and forestry. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Train 4: Coming Soon —Jeff Elliott
You know, I completely bafflegabbed that message. The joint between Ramp 1 and 2 is exactly *6* bricks. However, that does indeed mean that the joint between the 2nd and 3rd curve segment on that turn is 4 bricks, so we're good. Me not talk so good. (...)         Re: Train 4: Coming Soon —David Koudys
k, this is what I threw together last night and tonight... (URL) be tweaking it thru the week, but I think it's mostly good :) So there you are! By the way, building real estate is *almost* as much fun as building 'bots--you techies are missing out (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Train 4: Coming Soon —Derek Raycraft
(...) how sick you've been and how little time you've had. It's great. As for clearances on that curve. I think it's ok, but check: (URL) to be sure. This is only a requirement for the outside loop. I've been doing clearance on the inside loop by (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Train 4: Coming Soon —David Koudys
(...) Thanks Derek! Wow, that's some clearance--I'm going to have to redesign the outside landscaping. I'll get it done tonite. Dave K. (22 years ago, 14-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
