In lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, Chris Magno writes:
Actually, I think Ripe would be a terrific name - going through life
with the name "Ripe Magno" should get your name mispronounced even more!

Or Ewe.  "Hey, Ewe!  Bring the garbage around front!"  or "Hey, Ewe;
make your bed or it's back to the sorting room!"

One of the "tests" of a name that i will have to like is how it sounds
as I scream it up the stairs.

as in.

"John get down hear and help clean up this mess!"

this works.....

John is way too plain!! Make the name  simple enough to for the kid to get
used to early in life (and not too off-the-wall so as to not get razed too
much), but make it unique enough to be cool...

Stephon is a neat name....

what about Christo???

naming the children after the grandparents is also traditional in some
cultures.

(ie Italian,)

or Chinese (very complex naming system - that takes into account generation
and year of birth)

"Alessandro Christen Get you sorry behind down hear right now!"

This does not work.

:)

(grin)

Chris
