I think more then one loop is a necessity.  Its the only way everyone
will get a good chance to run their trains.  Unless we can find a place
to setup that doesn't require us to be out by 5.

Was going to mention this a while ago actually – my apartment building has a
“party hall” that can be rented out for about $60. It’s pretty spacious, at
least as big as the Library spot, if not larger. And the sweet thing is that
it’s ours till midnight. The location isn’t too bad either – Lawrence and
Allen Rd (5 min away from 401/400), plus there is free underground parking.
Last time I’ve been there it had A/C and a fridge, extra nice for those hot
September afternoons :))

Only problem I see with this spot is the lack of audience. It is in a
residential building and you have to be buzzed in to get in, so you can
imagine how little “random visitors” we’ll have. Even though it might be a
bonus in a way, I think exposure to public is pretty important for an event
like a train show.

(...) I don't think this is a requirement, but it is nice to have. Doesn't have to be very large. I think everything on the layout should be reachable within the width of one module. For example a 3x3 square with a module in the middle would be bad (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
