I'm running Apache 2.0.52 on Win2K Pro just fine. Here's a guess: you mentioned that you're running 2K SERVER... any chance that the OS runs IIS by default and Apache is fighting for possesion of port 80? (...) Nope--there are just no requests logged at a certain time, then I restart Apache and all the Apache startup requests are logged. (...) Is it possible that the network or stack/driver went out during that time you have no logs? Can you keep ping logs to somewhere outside of the cable provider network, maybe?
