because when you get to the Library all the lighting is different.


Hence the "complete darkness" bit in the question. :))
Given the size of the ‘bot I don’t think it’s much of a challenge to completely
shield the light sensor from all ambient light.

I’m just wondering if it’s possible to reliably tell the difference between a
black/white marble and a black/white square with nothing but a light sensor.

(...) DaveK I suspect is incommunicado due to work (pfft. Work.) concerns. But we never knew the floor readings back in rtl3/4/5 anyways, because when you get to the Library all the lighting is different. Calum (21 years ago, 23-Jan-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
