Well... I was thinking about painting it this weekend... but my lazy nature and

Nope, I'll paint it this weekend. And I'll rpobably paint the entire (gasp!)
field 'cause right now right down the middle is that black/white electrical tape
line that's been there since blocksorting--I'd imagine that there'll be a pretty
big colour differential between the exposed wood and the wood under the tape.
So the field will be a uniform grey by Sunday, and the corners will have 8x8
squares--one white the other black. The debate is whether I tape down black and
white constuction paper instead of actually painting the corners...
Anyway, pics and light sensor values forthcoming after the paint job sat.
