At the marked T just to the left of the right support leg, the path leads upward, but if the robot were to remain traveling to the right, it would rejoin the marked path much closer to the end, avoiding a whole section of (...)   Re: rtlToronto15: Pipe Racers Pro Concept

(...) <snip> (...) I like it! It fixes all known issues neatly. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get a robot to detach itself from one pipe and latch onto another. Dave K (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtlToronto15: Pipe Racers Pro Concept

Hey folks, Here's a graphic to give you an idea of what rtlToronto15 could be like. (URL) that the structure is made of 90 degree pipes running into only T shapes. While the game will probably be called "rtlToronto15: Project Y" to continuity's sake (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: RTL 14

(...) Try reading the rules that are clearly posted on the website. I'm getting sick of your infantile questions! (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: RTL 14

(...) If you read the rules, ((URL) will see that external devices in real time (like RC controllers) are forbidden.   RTL 14

Guys- Thanks for the good news. In other events, how do you plan to control your robots? Do you plan to use RC controllers, or will they be preprogrammed via laptop? (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I thought about it, yes... But what **I** said about his behaviour isn't debatable. :-) He needs to learn how to post to different groups, he can follow up there himself if he really really feels the need to talk about the bombing. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) While it may or may not be scary, this is *way* far (...) Hey Lar, I'm surprised you didn't set follow-ups to Lugnet.off-topic.debate for him or at least x-post it there. Ben (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

World events (was re: Joystick help

(...) We heard you the first time. While it may or may not be scary, this is *way* far enough off topic (in my opinion as someone who hangs out here although I don't live in T.O.) that you'd get better responses if you posted it somewhere other than (...) (...) Ben- I am a bit confused by your statement, "I don't think that would be possible." Am I kicked out of the group? I hope not. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Dave- Did you hear about the bombing in Bombay? It's really scary. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto15 January issues

(...) I think you've got a good idea here. If we build it right, we wouldn't have to rebuild it to have a different maze for subsequent rounds, we could just mark different paths through the maze. I don't like the idea of having more then one (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

It doesn't take too long to figure the Organizational Culture of rtlToronto is to be the "most unfriendly place on the web" which is the opposite of the LUGNET goal of trying to be the friendliest place.
