  Re: Video

(...) I still have the Lowrider from the 4.5 show at my place... I believe that I built it around Calum's camera, and I thought we took it for a loop.... Jeff VW (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: NMRA2003 Friday install

(...) We have 10 stanchions available, with chain, some with ventax logo on them. We're more than welcome to use them, but here's the problem - I can fit exactly *zero* in my car. :( If I pull out my subwoofer, I think I can fit maybe 3 in the back. (...)   Re: Video

(...) I'm planing on trying to come in sometime Friday to help with the setup at this point; in a worst-case scenario, I can just leave the camera with one of you guys and you're welcome to use it with your own tape or whatever for the weekend.   Re: rtl 11 video?

(...) I *think* I had my camera there, but I'm not sure. I'll go over my tapes when I get home tonight, and let you know! Iain (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Video

(...) I will have my Elura40 there. However, it's taller in comparison to Iain's Elura2. Alas, Iain may also be there too, so we'll see. Calum (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Mostly done--just have to pack it up

(URL) rail yard. I cheated--I don't need the other XL baseplate--I put a parking lot beside the Engine shed. I think it's okay, but whatever enhancements you guys may have to add to the scenery, by all means. I also incorporated an RCX for the motor (...)   Re: rtlToronto14 Final rule confirmation

I've made it clear before that I'm in favour of 2x4 bricks. There was one other issue which was what points to assign: I'm in favour of black = +1 point, white = -1 point. Wayne. (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: computer question: disappearing file types

(...) Thanks for these tips. The fix on that link didn't work, but it led to one that did. Something to do with the registry. Rob (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtl 11 video?

Hey guys, Does anyone have footage from rtl 11? The capture the flag game? I think I remember seeing some video cameras there. I would like to show some friends the bridge building robots. I wouldn't even mind some raw footage, since I need to learn (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Video

Are we going to have access to the Eula (sp) video camera? Is someone going to make a 'lowrider' truck that could hold said video camera and tape the rounds of Altenburg? I mean, this could be it for this layout. Just wondering. Dave K (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Road Show Pictures

(...) Oh My Goodness!! You actually did it. I mean, I really thought that in the end you were joking but you actually did it. You made the roads out of bricks!!! Wow, that's something else entirely. Well now, it's a whole new ballgame! Nicely done, (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Road Show Pictures

In case anyone is interested I've put my roadshow pictures on Brickshelf. (URL) (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtlToronto14 Final rule confirmation

Is everyone in agreement with the final ruleset? I want to turn it public tonight. The only issue left for discussion, IIRC and it's 2x4's vs 2x2's Calum (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: DCC party

(...) The Ack circuit is great--I used resistors, but the 2 lights also do the trick, and I know you have lotsa train lamps to make your own. Dave K (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: NMRA2003 Friday install

(...) I started with an Apple II Plus clone. Had a 2001N32 PET with a 2031LP, probably a 64 or two (or several in my garage) and requisite 1541, 1541C and 1541-II drives. Destroyed a 1571 trying to convert it into an A1020 Amiga drive. Had every (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) For food close by, try "The Zet" on Airport road, towards the airport (if it is still there...). It was the closest decent (read cheap greasy spoon) place to eat back when I used to do the shows at the international center. James (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
