(...) Gee, Angelo, the *serious* techheads put autopilots in their aircraft so that if it becomes clear that the freqs are jamming, they return and do a flaps-down landing on the emergency runway using the two VORs you set up at the start of the (...)   Re: SMASH up DERBY!!! date set

Chris, We're currently planning to run a non-public train workshop the March 1 weekend. So if you *care* about where the Jeffs, Derek, Dave and Calum are during the RC event, you might want to avoid that weekend. As for colliding with KotH, I dunno, (...) (...) I think it effectively uses 9 data streams, the switch selects which 3 are assigned to the 3 controls (ditto in reverse for the receiver). But I could be wrong.... ROSCO (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Trevyn, must I teach you everything.... I remember the first time I had to teach you how to tell voltage level of a 9v by using your tongue... The different channels of a 8475 is accomplished through modulating the frequencies of the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: SMASH up DERBY!!! date set

(...) You can't run a 5599 at the same time as an 8475. They interfere with each other, and only one of them works at a time. I'm not sure how Lego does the different 8475 channels, since they're all on 27 MHz... Maybe they use slightly different (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
