Dave re these two problems (...) have you tried putting an RCX in each leg. maybe even using the rcx as a foot. now the bot only has to lift the weight if the bot and ONE rcx per step. also with the RCX down low you lower the COG. just a thought. So here's a few things I learned whilst building LOR... My usual 'reinforce until the cows come home' doesn't work when the idea is to keep it light Artifacts increase exponentially per every change--to eliminate artifacts, you must start rebuilding (...) (...) Ben, The large back wheels, and lack of gearing has the potential to make a robot that will go VERY fast, but will not have much, if any, power or control.
