  Re: 4107 Basic Bricks Photo

If anyone has any empty tubs that they are not using, due to lack of space.. I would be glad to take them, I find I am always short of empty tubs when I want to sort bricks... Jeff VW... (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  multiplexer at rtl12

I have a quick rules question. I'm not sure if I need it, but are sensor multiplexers allowed for rtl events? (like touch sensor multiplexers?) I know there are other ways of doing this, but I just want to know what is, and what isn't allowed. Steve (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 4107 Basic Bricks Photo

I've got data for the statistical comparison between the 4107 and the 3033. Seeing as I got 8 of the 4107 this weekend and I have (had) 7 reserve 3033s and I'm always wining about lack of space, I decided to compress them down. I found that the (...)   Re: 4107 Basic Bricks Photo

(...) Mmm, yes, I bought 2 this weekend. (...) I did the math this weekend, and left it at home. But it comes down to this: counting only basic bricks, the wall length you could build is is the neighbourhood of 1700 studs for the 4107 and 3200 (...)   Re: Arena...

Hi Dave, I have an idea that would be a nice addition to the standard playing field. What if there was a high contrast line placed about 15 cm (6 inches) within the walls? This would allow robots to detect the line a back away from the perimeter (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My "Legends" building spree

(...) Just to prolong the issue for no good reason (apart from perhaps stopping newbies asking the same question again ;-) my Dad reckons that the MOT train set/bundle from Shop@Home looks like the sort of thing you get chugging around Africa. So, (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.trains)

Re: rtlToronto Golf Shirts and Sweatshirts

(...) Yes. I'll look into a number of possibilities-basically I think the way this will work is that I'll bring the catalog to a dinner and we can preorder and pick them, then I'll get them to do them in a batch. Calum (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  4107 Basic Bricks Photo

Hey folks, I bought a pair of the 4107 1000 piece tubs. They're pretty different than the 3033 1200 piece tubs from before-about the same price ($19.99 at TRU this week!) but the contents inside are quite varied. I know the 4107 part distribution (...)   Re: rtlToronto Golf Shirts and Sweatshirts

Sure. Any possibility for getting long-sleeved versions for the winter? The old ones are a bit cool for a basement in winter. Matthias Jetleb (22 years ago, 20-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtlToronto Golf Shirts and Sweatshirts

Hey folks, So, I'm playing around with the idea of doing embroidered items for rtlToronto. Is anyone interested in a golf shirt, say, dark blue, with the Blueprint rtlToronto logo embroidered in white? (it's the same as the one on the existing (...)   Re: How do things stack up with everyone? :-)

(...) :) Show off. :) ok, then. I'll see you early on Sat. Nov. 9. the library opens at 9am... and if you arrive early you don't have to share table space. also the lights in the library play havoc with light sensors so you will need to readjust (...) No. There will be one set of blocks, and they will be supplied by Bruce Sheridan or Jeff Elliott, who supplied them last time. Since the game calls for two robots playing (...)   How do things stack up with everyone? :-)

After four failed revisions that have only confirmed for me, the uselessness of Znap, I finally have a block stacker that's got potential - 13 blocks so far, 1 more and I'll reach the 16" limit for the gantry. Anything more than that and I'll just (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
