  Re: Altenburg Line Clearance

Thanks Derek! I'd add the following observation: For all the "normal" train cars I've tested, if you have a track-side object 3 bricks tall or shorter, it can usually get about 1 stud closer. That's because the train base tends to be just barely (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Decagon?!

Hey Iain, I recently did a 12-sided ferris wheel, admittedly easier, but I might be able to help: -=<(1)>=- Those 45-degree-bend technic fasteners can do the trick, and here's how. Get 10 fasteners, and 10 axles of the same length; try 6 or 8-longs (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  With respect to trains:

I think it will be absolutely without any question the most incredible thing ever to grace the face of transport history. (If you didn't know, currently a (...)   Thanks for the rtl CD

Iain, Thanks again for the rtl CD. There was some pretty slick editing on it and I really liked all of the other little bots you have made. I hope you haven't given up on the pole balancer yet! Cheers, Ralph (23 years ago, 2-Sep-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Altenburg Line Clearance

I've got the corner clearance diagram completed for Altenburg. (URL) setup the clearances trying to maintain at least one stud clearance between the side of the cars and the walls. Any train that uses the 6x28 Train Base should clear the blue (...) (23 years ago, 30-Aug-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Decagon?!

I'm trying to build a model of Psyclone. It's disc is made of ten seating modules of 4 seats each, so the whole thing isn't really a disc, its a decagon. Because you can't put an even number of 2-stud wide chairs on an even-numbered long plate (if (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
