  Desperately in need of wires...

Well title says it all - I'm in desperate need of wires! Don't ask me how I could possibly overlook that I'm at least 3 wires short... and of cause the fact that I finished building my xBot about 12 hours ago has nothing to do with this :)) I guess (...)   Re: New Soccer Bus at TRU!

(...) I guess I'm a lego sucker....because I bought a plain blue one for that... ($30). I know a few more people that would appreciate a "free" soccer ball. I already have a ball from the "Blue BUS/Ball pack" Ben (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: New Soccer Bus at TRU!

(...) Actually, it is that bad. The first ball is cute. The second, well you can give to a friend. The third and fourth are utterly useless. $29 for a hundred or so pieces is a ripoff, no matter how you cut it :) Calum (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtl10 robot roll call

I'm getting curious about different peoples entries for rtl10 and though it would be cool if we did a robot roll call. I've come up with some categories below, feel free to add more. I'll replay to this message with my own details in a moment. Derek (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Here is one for you Iain

Ya, they did something nasty to those rails. I remember making roller coasters with the blue rails, but there was always too much friction with the old train wheels. I should try it again with the new train wheels. Your right though its hard to do (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

subject says it all. :) (smirk) here I am, trying out a few ideas, without a care in the world. life is good. OH sorry gotta go, my latest software update is loaded. Chris about 100 more hours till game time. (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  New Soccer Bus at TRU!

I found an interesting little bit in the TRU here in Belleville-a red soccer bus that has an Adidas logo on it. It's $29 and comes with a ball, just like the great Ball Bus from a year or two ago. Looks like a neat little set, but horribly (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Calibration Run

(...) Getting the JDK in is no problem, just remind me of it a little closer (ie, Thursday night send me an email) Calum Pretend dialup from Belleville isn't the most cruel thing ever invented. (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Calibration Run

(...) Thanks for the offer, the one big thing I'd need installed is the Sun 1.3.1 JDK. LeJOS and my source will easily fit on floppies. I'd also need WinZip or equivelent to extract the LeJOS archive, and a text editor of some description. Notepad (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Calibration Run

(...) You could if you really want, but I'll have at least one if not two extra laptops at rtl10 for people to use. Just bring your code on floppy and of course, your IR tower. I can preload whatever you need the night before. Calum (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Calibration Run

In all likelihood I won't be able to bring a computer to rtl10, and the software I need will likely be difficult to setup on someone else's computer. Assuming someone will even let me do that. I will burn a CD with everything I need but just in case (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
