  Re: entertaining spectators

(...) Do I even have to mention... 1st place, 2nd place, 1st place... (and train guy to boot!!) The way I see it, the only ones that can even come close to my record are Iain and Rob (and note how they aren't getting involved in this)... Dave walks (...)   another RIS set

I won an auction for RIS 1.0?? for just over $100 US. I guess I'll have to wait for its arrival to see its condition but it is another mindstorm set. That will make it 2 now. My goal is later on (probably in the fall) to get a 2.0 and have all 3 (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  ogel command strikers really neat

I guess this might only apply to Richard, (who might appreciate mini-figs with special pieces / characteristics) but I bought 3 Ogel Strikers because I think the shoulder pieces really look cool, and the all black figures would make pretty good body (...)   Re: entertaining spectators

(...) I actually thought about doing this a while ago, and it was surprisingly a lot more work. for my robot at least, it would mean a whole second program, and I have actually used up 95% of all the 6100 bytes available on my rcx. So I agree that a (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: entertaining spectators

(...) I *may* bring a quick caster or 2 and my mini arena for them to bounce around in. Whoever else wants to bring a 'bot with wheels and such, (even my R2 unit may make an appearance...) we could just throw them in the arena and see what happens. (...)   entertaining spectators

I've been thinking.... It doesn't happen often, so I thought I'd tell everyone about it... Given that Project X is mainly a "competitors" game, and not really all that interesting from a spectator's point of view, I thought it might be a good idea (...)
