I remember seeing a generic "No Food or Drink" icon on the door that caused me distress when I wanted to bring in my pop from Burger King.   Re: monkey rungs

(...) I’ve just purchased the materials for the ladder today. I plan to have it built by Sunday. So you say your robot will have trouble if the rungs are not exactly 6 inches apart (my, isn’t that interesting…evil laugh)! Don’t worry…..I will ensure (...)   Re: monkey rungs

(...) Whoever builds the official ladder: I have one request. Could you be careful to make the rungs as close to 6 inches apart as possible? I'm probably not the only one who is building a monkey that depends on accurately spaced rungs. Actually, on (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Hey! Great idea, Chris! Mango punch at rtlToronto9! It'll be a sensation! Of course, the library officially frowns on refreshments being served on the premises, I'm sure :( Jeff E (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  4565 Arrival

Hi folks, just letting you guys know that the set I ordered from Germany arrived... I set it up, and it was almost complete. I changed around the cab so it is at the back instead of the middle. I had to take off the "step ladders" on each side of (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

My 2c on various things in this thread: Regarding rules changes: Rob, it's fine with me if we allow non-RCX solutions. Changing the rules to allow for solutions we hadn't considered seems reasonable. (...) Well Mr. Chris (the gentleman) :) I have read the article in question, and find your name appears 5 times.... not just 3. Hmmmm.....so even your assesment of Calum is short-sighted. Makes you really wonder what is going on in Calum's head.... (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: monkey rungs

(...) You might wish to have that entire assembly with legs put onto a table or two. This would make it easier to place and start robots, to catch them if they fall, plus would give everyone around a better view. (...)   Re: monkey rungs

(...) I think the pictures on the rtlToronto site are great and I plan to build the ladder exactly as depicted (16 rungs, every 6 inches, starting 3 inches in from one end of the 2x4). I suggest the height of the legs be approx 24 inches. (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: updates

(...) Dave, if you have a look at this post: (URL) will see (yet again) that Calum has created a GREAT web site of his lego vacation. Why then does my name appear in this new page not once but three times? I ask you this as a gentleman. And Jeff. V. (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: monkey rungs

(...) :) YES! :) (...) OK. if you think that rung rotation is going to be that much of a problem for the rest then, maybe a nail or screw is best.   My Trip to Legoland, Windsor/Billund May 2001

Hi folks, As many of you in rtlToronto know, I visited Legoland Billund and Legoland Windsor in a relatively fast 11 day trip that spanned Germany, Denmark and the UK, earlier this year in May of 2001.
